“Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.” Matthew 27:38-44 (NIV)
Everyone present on that day mocked our Lord during the Crucifixion 2,000 years ago, except our Lord’s mother and disciples at the foot of the Cross.
Have you ever mocked someone?
I have, and I regret it. The people I mocked didn’t know me, and I mocked them based on what the internet and news said—politicians, criminals, illegal immigrants, government agencies, billionaires, pharma, and more. I became the judge. Maybe some of you think there is nothing wrong. But this is not about them. This is about me. Pride and resentment made me feel superior because of my self-righteousness. But even though I thought I did my part by mocking them. Nothing has changed. The only thing that changed was my prideful heart and self-righteousness, which went to the roof.
By the way, I was a Christian already.
I joined the Christian groups to voice my concerns for whoever supported abortion, LGQTxxxxxxxx (it is hard to keep up with the name), illegal immigrants, gender politics, mandates and other things. I admired the Christian apologists going on university tours to debate the students. I also liked a Canadian clinical psychologist, an internet sensation who complained about anything, and he had answers for everything. I also thought the Great Commission was up to me and my peers. I thought too highly of myself. I claimed that I was a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ but acted like one of those bystanders on the day of the Crucifixion. Every mockery I made went to our Lord indirectly. I was mocking Him without knowing.
“But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.” Matthew 5:22 (NIV)
“But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37 (NIV)
Praise our Lord. He was patient with me. He called me out and gave me salves for my eyes to see. I stopped watching the programs and no longer listened to the noise. I started walking alone with Him without fear. He had to humble me. Let me tell you, it is always better to humble oneself before our Lord has to humble us.
A disciple’s journey does not start the day we become Christians with a baptism. For many Christians, the disciple journey never happened. Many never knew about authentic discipleship and lived how they wanted until they departed as neither cold nor hot. Our Lord said that by our empty words, we will be condemned. If we mock someone and call them names without mercy, we will be in danger of the fire of hell. Everything we do and say has eternal consequences. There is still time to repent and ask for forgiveness if we have mocked someone. Remember, our Lord said that if we lust for someone in our hearts, we have already committed adultery. If adultery and mockery have the same consequence for the Lake of Fire, we shall avoid mocking someone in our hearts, too.
We have to stop following those who preach, not what they do, politicians included. They are not the best examples and will corrupt our character and lead us astray. How do we identify them, even if they say they believe in God? The basic rule is if they incite resentment, hatred, and mockery and claim they are on the right side of history. Do they mean they are sheep? Because the sheep will be on the right, and the goats on the left, upon the return of our Lord. But that is solely up to our Lord to decide, and no one can do that on His behalf, and no one has that kind of authority on Earth. Therefore, if anyone says they are the anointed ones from God, you already know no such person exists in the Book of Revelation but only the False Prophet. We are in the Biblical time of the Book of Revelation now. We are only called to follow our Lord Jesus Christ and to lead by example to make disciples for Him. And it is always one disciple at a time.
“Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” Revelation 22:10-11 (NIV)
For the rest, He has everything under control. Did I say that He is coming soon?

I was listening to Steve Quayle yesterday in his Private Briefing. He claims to have knowledge that the 2 witnesses are here already. 🤷♂️
Goodbye.
